WEEK 8

Today, I helped setting up for the upcoming art exhibition called “Spiris of the Suffragettes.” The exhibition presented photos taken from various music performances and events by women and gender non-conforming musicians held in Liberty Square and in the Sanctuary of Independent Media. I am so happy that I was able to give a hand for such an empowering project.

Also, for my individual project, I discussed with my mentor, Branda Miller, about my possible final products for my project. After a long discussion, we were able to come to a conclusion that I should create a permaculture walk as well as a pamphlet and invite Emma Willard students and faculty to join me on a permaculture walk to learn more about the existing permaculture in our community. Moreover, we decided that I could potentially do radio interviews with people related to permaculture that could spread the valuable principles of permaculture as well as encourage others who listen to the radio station to possibly start their own project individually.
